New Arrival

I know that we haven't been much in the bloggin' world, but we'll try to be better. Having said that, we have a new arrival in our house. Her name is Alice Katherine Mangum. She was born on the 2nd of Jan. 2008. She weighed 8 lbs. and 1 ounce at birth, and was 20.5 inches long. She was born 4 weeks early, hence the small birth weight for the mangum family. Baby Ali is healthy and doing well, and mom is doing well also. Ali (what mom and dad will call the new baby) is going to be smothered by her brothers and sisters. James loves to give hugs and kisses to both mom and baby. We are very thankful to Heavenly Father for this miracle in our lives. Heather could have had many complications, but luckily enough there haven't been any thus far. We feel very lucky and blessed that all has gone so smothly. We hope that everyone's year has started out as wonderful as ours. We thank all of our friends and famliy who have helped us, and kept us in thier prayers.
